MARK Webber finished just short of a remarkable and dramatic victory at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, German driver Nico Rosberg just holding out the retiring Australian. Rosberg came home just seven-tenths of a second clear of Red Bull's Webber in a tumultuous event. It was the Mercedes team's first victory in Britain since Stirling Moss won at Aintree in 1955 and Rosberg's second in three races and third of his career. However, Rosberg's joy was later put on ice as he was called before the race stewards to explain why he didn't slow down for the yellow flags between bends three and five over an hour into the race.
